A woman was injured in a crash Thursday evening that left one lane closed on the Tri-State Tollway near southwest suburban Bridgeview.

A red Ford SUV was merging from the 95th street ramp onto southbound I-294 just after 8 p.m. when it struck a semi truck, according to Illinois State Police.

The 29-year-old woman driving the SUV suffered a minor injury and was taken to Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, police said.

The far right southbound lane was temporarily closed to traffic, police said. All lanes were open shortly after 9:30 p.m.
