A man was injured in a drive-by shooting Thursday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 36-year-old was walking near Ohio and St. Louis about 9:30 a.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The shooter took off in the vehicle after the shooting.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
