Burger King is seeing red in new Whopper

Burger King is happy to see red if it means selling another Angriest Whopper.

In a follow-up to its black-bunned Halloween Whopper, the hamburger chain is rolling out a red-bunned Whopper with hot sauce baked into the bun. The new “Angriest Whopper” also comes with onion petals, “spicy angry sauce,” and jalapenos.

“The black bun of our A.1. Halloween Whopper created a lot of conversation and our previous limited time Angry Whopper sandwich was a hit with guests,” said Axel Schwan, global chief marketing officer for Burger King. “So, we’re combining the power of these past hits into a star-studded sandwich we think our guests will unanimously agree is the next must-eat burger.”

The red bun will show up at Burger King restaurants beginning Thursday, March 31.
