A 30-year-old man was shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Wednesday evening on the West Side.

Just after 5 p.m., he and another person got into a fight in the 4100 block of West Adams when the other person pulled out a gun and shot him in the buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was shot about three blocks away hours earlier.
