Police are warning residents about a burglary reported this week in west suburban Geneva.

Officers were called at 12:50 p.m. Monday about the break-in at a home in the 1000 block of Westfield Course, according to a statement from Geneva police. A rear window of the home was broken and jewelry was stolen from inside.

Several other burglaries were reported during daytime hours over the past few weeks in nearby St. Charles, police said.
