A man was injured in an Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting Tuesday night on the West Side.

The 29-year-old was standing outside in the 5900 block of West Augusta about 8:30 p.m. when someone shot him from a passing vehicle, Chicago Police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, were his condition was stabilized, police said.
