Man shot in West Englewood

A 19-year-old man was shot in the foot Wednesday evening in West Englewood on the South Side.

About 5:15 p.m., he was standing on a sidewalk in the 6700 block of South Wolcott when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.
