Sen. Mark Kirk and Rep. Tammy Duckworth will faceoff in November for the Senate.

WASHINGTON — Here’s the latest on fundraising from Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., and Rep. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., who faceoff in November:

Duckworth was in Texas for fundraising on Wednesday and Thursday and will be back in Illinois on Friday for official House business. On Thursday, Duckworth was in San Antonio for events hosted by Texas Democrats Rep. Joaquin Castro and Rep. Lloyd Doggett. She also had a lunch funder in Austin.

On March 23, Duckworth was in downtown Boston where her visit included a fundraiser aimed at Asian-American donors.

A group of three dozen Republicans from the Illinois blue chip establishment wing of the party are the co-hosts of a Kirk funder Thursday night at the Winnetka home of Muneer Satter.

On Sunday afternoon, the To Protect Our Heritage PAC, which has a major focus on Israel-related issues, hosts a funder for Kirk at The Arts Center of Highland Park, 1957 Sheridan Road. Former UN Ambassador John Bolton is the featured guest.
