Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 71-year-old man missing from the Southwest Side Lawndale neighborhood since Wednesday afternoon.

Jihad Baiddin was last seen about 4 p.m. near the 1500 block of South Christiana, according to missing person alert from Chicago Police.

He is described as a 180-pound, 5-foot-8 black man with gray hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police said. Baiddin was wearing a tan jacket, light-colored dress pants and glasses.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
