ALL ABOUT ‘BOTS

National Robotics Week arrives next week, and you can celebrate by viewing a collection of robots at the Museum of Science and Industry, April 2-10. The ’bots were created by area students and amateur teams. Details at msichicago.com.

STRINGS ATTACHED

Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, aka 2CELLOS, headline concerts at 8 p.m. April 2, and 7:30 p.m. April 3 at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State. The dynamic duo burst onto the music scene five years ago with their unique take on Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” and their Baroque spin on AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” shortly thereafter, and they’ve never looked back. They’re touring behind their third album, “Celloverse.”

WHAT’S UP IN DOCS

Ten documentaries make their Chicago premieres this weekend as part of a new festival. Called DOC10, the fest kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday with “Miss Sharon Jones!,” a profile of the Dap-Kings singer by Barbara Kopple (“Harlan County USA”), who will be present for a Q&A. PRANKSTER’S PARADISE

YouTube goofs Roman Atwood, Dennis Roady and Vitaly Zdorovetskiy take their stunts to a screen bigger than your phone’s with “Natural Born Pranksters,” a movie opening Friday at the AMC River East 21 and on demand.
