A 19-year-old man was shot Thursday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The man got into an argument with someone in the 3200 block of West Madison a few minutes after 10 a.m., according to Chicago Police. As he was leaving, he heard shots and felt pain.

The victim was shot twice in the right leg, police said. A family member drove him to Norwegian American Hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately known.
