Man shot in North Lawndale

A 56-year-old man was shot Thursday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was standing on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of South Troy about 9:15 p.m. when someone walked up to him and shot him multiple times in both legs, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
