A 21-year-old Oak Lawn man died early Friday of injuries suffered in a crash the night before in Hoffman Estates.

Brendan Burke was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into another vehicle around 8:15 p.m. Thursday near Higgins Road and Huntington Boulevard, according to the Hoffman Estates police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Burke and another passenger were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where Burke was pronounced dead just before 5 a.m. Friday.
