A man was stabbed on a Red Line train early Sunday in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.

The 26-year-old was exiting the train at the Belmont Station at 945 W. Belmont Ave. when he was stabbed in the abdomen by another male, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
