Lanes are open after crash involving a semi truck on Tri-State Tollway Sunday afternoon that left two lanes temporarily closed near south suburban South Holland.

The semi and a 1998 Honda crashed in the southbound lanes of the Tri-State Tollway near the Lincoln Oasis about 2 p.m., according to Illinois State Police. The semi was hauling large rebar.

The 76-year-old woman driving the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. Her 68-year-old passenger also suffered minor injuries and he was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.

All lanes were open by 3:30 p.m., police said.
