Person shot in Gage Park

A woman was shot Tuesday in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 22-year-old woman was shot in the back at 4:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of West 57th Street, according to Chicago Police. She was a passenger in a vehicle when someone on foot fired shots.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition, police said.
