At the farthest point, they will be a mere 102 feet away from you.

“They” are Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond, and the venue is the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, where the dynamic brother-sister team will be performing Aug. 27-31 for seven shows.

Voted the best act in Las Vegas, where the duo have performed in residency since 2008 at the Flamingo Hotel, the Osmonds are no strangers to Chicago audiences, having performed here over the years in concert, holiday shows and of course, Donny’s record-breaking run of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

Ticket, $69-$99, are available at or by phone at (630) 896-6666.

In June, Donny talked to me about his newly launched free music App, and the upcoming release of his 60th album due this fall. “This is my absolute favorite album I’ve ever done because it’s my most personal. I’m hoping that’s what will set this album apart from the rest,” Osmond told me. You can read the full story here.
