A 66-year-old man was shot in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday evening.

The shooting occurred in the 9200 block of South Ada Street at 7:06 p.m., police said.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the left shoulder and right leg, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.
