Bond has been set at $150,000 Wednesday for a 42-year-old man charged with having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl in northwest suburban Schaumburg.

Andrew Payne, of the 1300 block of Light Road in Oswego, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and child pornography for his relationship with the 16-year-old girl, Schaumburg police announced Wednesday.

Payne met the girl online in December via the social media app “Whipser,” police said. They met in person for the first time in February and their relationship became physical shortly after.

An investigation also revealed Payne had photos of the girl.
