Pleased with his injury-shortened season last year, the Bears re-signed running back Jacquizz Rodgers to a one-year contract Wednesday.
Rodgers was a special teams stalwart in his first five games with team, recording four tackles. He carried 14 times for 41 yards and caught one pass for five yards before breaking his right arm and being placed on Injured Reserved.
Rodgers will join a backfield that includes second-year running back Jeremy Langford and third-year Ka’Deem Carey.
The Bears also re-signed offensive tackle Nick Becton to a one-year deal; he played five games last year on special teams.
