A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday night on the South Side.

He was on the street in the 8900 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 9:15 p.m. when someone in black sport-utility vehicle shot him in the left leg, according to the police, who waid he was being treated at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital.
