A 15-year-old boy was shot in the Austin neighborhood Wednesday night on the West Side.

He was outside at 8:23 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Parkside when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was shot in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
