Chicago Police are warning South Side residents after three garage burglaries in five days the South Shore neighborhood.

According to a community alert issued Wednesday, an unknown person or persons broke into three garages between May 3-7 and stole property.

The first burglary was reported between May 3-4 in the 8400 block of South Bennett Avenue. Two others occurred overnight May 7 in the 8600 block of South Dante Avenue, police said.
