Turkey tale with a buddy twist: Turkey of the Week

“It came in completely silent, strutting at about 80 yards out, until it hit my two hen and one tom decoy spread,’’ he emailed.

He added, “Same turkey burnt “Musky Ed’’ Potocki during first season with a silent entry at same spot.’’

Turkey of the Week, the celebration of turkey hunting in the spring, runs Wednesdays on the Sun-Times outdoors page, as warranted.
