No one was injured in a fire Friday morning at a Lake Shore Drive high-rise in the South Side Kenwood neighborhood.

The fire was reported at 1:09 p.m. on the third floor of a 37-story building in the 5000 block of South Lake Shore, according to Fire Media Affairs. Crews arrived to find the fire in the roofing material on the building’s parking garage.

The fire was extinguished by 1:18 p.m., the fire department said. No fire or smoke were reported in the residential area of the building, and there was no evacuation. No one was injured.
