A man chased a woman into an Ashburn neighborhood alley and sexually assaulted her early Saturday, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

She was walking in the 3300 block of 85th Street about 2:30 a.m. when the man drove up to her in a tan four-door car, got out and ran after her into the alley, police said.

He caught and sexually assaulted her before driving away, police said.

The attacker was described as a black man between 20 and 25 years old with a light complexion, goatee and a birthmark or tattoo on his right hand. He had a low-fade hairstyle and was wearing a white T-shirt with black sweatpants, police said.
