A worker was hospitalized in serious condition after a porch collapsed Tuesday morning in the North Center neighborhood on the North Side, according to Fire Media Affairs.

The 47-year-old man was taken in serious condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center after the porch collapsed at 10:46 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Cullom Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs.
