A man was wounded in a West Pullman neighborhood shooting Friday night on the Far South Side.

The 23-year-old was outside in the 12300 block of South Wentworth about 8 p.m. when a gunman wearing all black jumped out of some bushes and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the abdomen and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
