The Harrison Street Bridge at the Jane Byrne Circle Interchange will be closed to all traffic for several hours each day for about two weeks starting on Monday.

The bridge will be closed—for balancing, and electrical and mechanical repairs—to pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle traffic daily from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

The closures will begin on Monday, May 23, and last about two weeks, according to CDOT. Work is expected to be completed by June 3; and no work will be done and the bridge open to all traffic during the Memorial Day weekend.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Clinton, Roosevelt, Clark and back to Harrison, according to CDOT, while westbound detours will be Franklin, Van Buren, Clinton and back to Harrison.
