A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Saturday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 33-year-old was shot in the back at 6:53 a.m. in the 900 block of North Homan, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
