Man killed in Gary crash

A man was killed in a crash in northwest Indiana late Friday.

Chana K. Boyd, 41, was involved in a crash in the 4300 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Gary, according to the Lake County Indiana coroner’s office.

Boyd, who lived in the 700 block of Ohio Street in Gary, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:01 p.m. and his cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma, according to the coroner’s office.
