A man was shot and critically wounded in the West Pullman neighborhood Saturday night on the Far South Side.

About 7:30 p.m., the 19-year-old was sitting in a vehicle parked in the 11500 block of South Stewart when a dark SUV pulled up behind him and someone inside it opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot twice in the back and once in the chest and taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
