A woman was shot early Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 25-year-old was standing outside in the 4100 block of West Adams about 4:30 a.m. when a male walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

She was shot in the abdomen and right arm and later walked into Saint Anthony Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
