A 45-year-old man was shot in the leg in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the West Side.

About 4 p.m., the victim was standing on a corner in the 2800 block of West Harrison when someone walked up and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
