Two men were shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Tuesday night.

The two were on a porch in the 800 block of North Lorel about 7:20 p.m. when a group of people walked out of an alley and someone in the group opened fire, police said.

One man, 19, was shot in the left leg while the other man, 18, was shot in the back, police said. Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions had stabilized.
