A 22-year-old man was shot to death Friday morning in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

Kevin Larry was found unresponsive near 56th and Wabash about 7:30 a.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Larry lived in the 6100 block of South Cottage Grove, authorities said.

Area Central detectives have launched a homicide investigation.
