3 shot in East Garfield Park

Three men were wounded in an East Garfield Park drive-by early Saturday.

The three were outside in the 3300 block of West Walnut about 1:45 a.m. when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, police said.

One man, 26, was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. His condition had stabilized. Another man, 23, was shot in the back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in guarded condition, police said.

The third man, 27, took himself to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh, police said. His condition had also stabilized.
