A 65-year-old woman died Wednesday afternoon, two days after a crash in west suburban Forest Park.

About 8:25 a.m. May 23, Dheeramath Maddela was a passenger in a vehicle headed west in the 8200 block of Roosevelt Road, according to Forest Park police Sgt. Tom Hall. Her husband was making a left turn into the parking lot for the Aperion Care nursing home when a Lincoln headed east hit the Maddelas’ vehicle.

She was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where she died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Hall said.

An autopsy Saturday found that she died from multiple blunt force injuries as a result of a crash, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. She lived in the 1400 block of Circle Avenue in Forest Park.

Charges are pending against the driver of the Lincoln.
