Two men were shot early Sunday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The men, ages 21 and 22, were walking on the sidewalk about 1:05 a.m. in the 700 block of North Kedzie when they heard gunfire and realized they’d both been shot, according to Chicago Police.

They later walked into Norwegian American Hospital, police said. The 22-year-old was shot in the left hand, while the younger man suffered a graze wound to the back and was expected to be transferred to Stroger Hospital.

A police source said the shooting is thought to be gang-related.
