A man was shot in the leg Tuesday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened a few minutes after 11 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Iowa, according to Chicago Police.

The 44-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
