Lane closures will begin Tuesday for resurfacing on Roosevelt Road in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Beginning Tuesday, Roosevelt Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Pulaski Road and Western Avenue, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

The resurfacing project is expected to be completed later this summer, according to IDOT.

Drivers can expect delays through this area and are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones.
