A man was fatally killed in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Jeremy Parker, 21, was standing in the street in the 7400 block of South Maplewood about 9:05 p.m. when someone in a passing vehicle shot him in the chest, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Parker, of the 7900 block of South Damen, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:40 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
