Man shot in North Lawndale

A 22-year-old man was shot Friday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was standing on the curb about 9:50 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Kirkland when a black Chevrolet SUV pulled up and someone got out and shot him multiple times before driving away, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, police said.
