A 39-year-old man was shot in the abdomen by someone who came up to him as he walked in the 6100 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue in Woodlawn on the city’s South Side around 3:30 a.m. Saturday according to the police, who said the man was being treated at Stroger Hospital.
