An East Chicago, Indiana, woman fell off a moving motorcycle on I-80/94 in Gary, Indiana, and was killed.

Isela Vargas, 48, a passenger on a westbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fell off around 9:45 a.m. just west of Grant Street, according to the Indiana State Police, who said she wasn’t wearing a helmet.

The driver, an Evergreen Park man, wasn’t hurt, the police said.
