A man was shot early Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 21-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 3800 block of West Adams Boulevard about 1:30 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been struck, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
