One person was seriously injured Saturday in a rollover crash on the Eisenhower Expressway on the Near West Side.

The single-vehicle crash happened at 7:33 p.m. in the outbound lanes of I-290 near South Racine, according to Illinois State Police. The vehicle struck the wall and the driver was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

All outbound lanes were closed for several hours after the crash, but everything was reopened by 12:40 a.m., police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
