A 27-year-old man was shot in the forearm by someone who exited a vehicle and shot him as he was walking in the 1300 block of West Leland in Uptown around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to the police.

The man was treated at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
