Police are cautioning residents of the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side after several home burglaries were reported in a matter of days within blocks of each other earlier this month.

According to an alert from police, the burglaries occurred in the 700 block of North Drake at 10:51 a.m. on June 6; in the 600 block of North St. Louis between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. on June 6; and in the 600 block of North Homan about 5 a.m. on June 8.

In each burglary, suspects entered a home through the back door and took video game systems, televisions, computers, cellphones, jewelry and tools, police said.
