A 35-year-old man died after he was shot early Tuesday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Antoine Randle was standing on the sidewalk about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 4900 block of West Huron when two males walked up, and one of them pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Randle, of the 1100 block of North Leclaire, was shot in the chest and right arm, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died at 5:45 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
